Teaching at Risk: Progress & Potholes - In their final report, The Teaching Commission follows up on the progress made in improving the teaching profession since their first report "Teaching at Risk." They state that progress has been made in several areas of teaching reform and call for additional action in the areas of: compensation, preparation, licensing, leadership, and support. They conclude with specific recommendations for various stakeholders to help revitalize and reform the profession.
